The Storm Tough woven polyester is a very durable fabric designed for outdoor display where weather conditions are more severe than would normally be experienced, i.e., windy gorges, coastal areas, roof tops, etc. Or if you are planning to leave your flag out for extended periods (24hrs, day & night use) where sun, wind, rain and other climatic conditions might cause premature wear and tear, the Storm Tough is the right choice. |

Use this handy guide to select the right American Flag for your home or business. Flag Material Selection: Most commercial flag installations are for continuous outdoor use. There are three main types, each for different conditions: 1."Storm Tough" American flags are rated "best choice", as it offers the highest durability and, due to its open weave, lock stitched construction, the choice for 24 hour flying of your flag. 2. "High Performance Nylon" Is excellent as an all around favorite. It provides durability with luster, and the ability to shed water, and dry very quickly. When your flag is frequently taken down for storage this can be a very desirable feature. Residential flagpoles that are attached to the house should use this flag material. 3. "High Fly" US flags made in the USA, are great for indoor display, and occasional outdoor use. They are affordable alternatives for events, sales promotions, and anywhere large numbers of flags are needed for periodic use. Proper Flag Size Selection: Flag size is based upon the height, type, wall thickness of the flagpole, and number of flags mounted to the pole.
