The 40' Wonder Pole comes fully assembled. The pole is
supplied with two figure eight fittings that can be slipped
on to the pole, and used to hoist a wire or cable. A 24" ground
tube is furnished for in ground installation. There are six
sections that nest inside of each other. The base section
is 2", and each succeeding section is 1/4" smaller in outside
diameter. The top mast is 3/4" outside diameter. The
pole sections are hollow with a 1/8" wall thickness.
You extend the sections by opening the handle, and sliding the pole out.
There is a stop marker to help prevent overdraw of the pole
sections. You do not have to fully open the pole, and can
raise it to heights between 96" and 40'.
The further you extend the pole the greater the degree of flex
at the top section. You can guy the pole to prevent unnecessary
sway.

have a need for a pole that will telescope from 8' to 40'.
If the pole will
be erected for permanent use it is advisable to pin open the
sections to prevent slippage over time due to weather,
use, or other site conditions.
We recommended that you guy this pole, and do not raise
it within the fall line of persons or property.
